Founded in 1965, Kent State University Press is the scholarly publisher of Kent State University. Publishing roughly 18-20 books per year and a quarterly journal, Civil War History, our publications reach scholarly and general audiences in history, literary studies, Ohio and Rust Belt interest, and more. KSU Press books have received numerous accolades and awards, finding resonance and relevance locally, nationally, and beyond. As a member of the Association of University Presses, KSU Press joins in the Association’s shared vision of “a world that values the many ways that scholarship enriches societies, institutions, and individuals.”
